Health and safety consultancy, audits and training

A 20-page health and safety plan is meaningless if it sits in a desk drawer or a vehicle glovebox and gets ignored. We help you build health and safety into how the work is done, so it meets the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and people go home safe.

Health and safety consultancy

We review your current practices against the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and any regulations that apply to your work. That can include risk assessments, policies and procedures written for your actual risks, induction material, emergency response plans and an incident reporting system people will use.

Audits

Independent audits at a frequency you choose, one-off audits when you move into new premises, compliance audits of your policies and procedures, and ongoing construction site inspections. An outside auditor sees what people inside the business have stopped noticing.

Accident investigation

When something goes wrong, we investigate independently to establish what happened and why, without assigning blame. We recommend changes to stop it happening again, help with notifying WorkSafe where that's required, and follow up on the corrective actions.

Pre-qualification support

Construction and infrastructure clients now routinely require health and safety pre-qualification through SiteWise, Tōtika, IMPAC Prequal or ISNetworld. We help you gather the evidence and prepare the submission. Kelvin has previously worked as a national assessor for SiteWise.

Training

Training built around your workplace's risks: hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency procedures, inductions for new staff, job-specific safety training and regular toolbox talks.
