What will a certificate cost? Get an estimate
Tell us how many certificates you need and roughly where the site is, and we'll show a likely price range. It's a guide only. We confirm the price before we book your visit.
How we work out the price
- Time on site at $250 an hour. Most visits take one to two hours, plus about half an hour for each extra certificate.
- Travel time at $250 an hour, return from Christchurch.
- Mileage at $1.50 a kilometre, return from Christchurch.
- $150 for each certificate issued.
- An administration fee of $110 a visit.
All prices exclude GST. The estimate is a range, because the real cost depends on the size of the site, how many substances and containers it holds, how complete your records are and exactly how far we travel.
What the estimate doesn't include
- Flights, accommodation or ferries for distant sites, which are charged at cost.
- A return visit if the site doesn't meet the requirements on the first inspection.
- Compliance advice, site plans or health and safety work, which we quote separately.
If we're already visiting other sites near you, we can often share the travel cost across those visits. Ask when you book.
