Her career has included roles as a pharmaceutical technician, Health and Safety support within the technical services division of a waste management organisation, and as an advanced materials researcher in a start-up focused on nanomaterial development. Alongside industry work, Rosanna has also supported the next generation of scientists through tutoring and laboratory supervision for undergraduate chemistry courses.
Holding a Health and Safety Level 3 Certificate, she combines practical, hands-on experience with a strong understanding of safety systems and risk management.
Outside of work, she is a probationary member of the New Zealand Response Team (NZ-RT 14), supporting Civil Defence Management groups during and after emergency events. When not working or volunteering, you’ll most likely find her outdoors tramping, trail running, skiing, cycling, mountaineering, or exploring anywhere that offers a bit of wilderness.
